ENGENSUS engineers have:

  • Earned certificates in Coastal Engineering from Old Dominion University's Coastal Engineering Certificate Program under the direction of Dr. David Basco, Ph.D., P.E.
  • Earned certificates in SMS training for EMS-I software for various numerical models including ADCIRC, STWAVE, and BOUSS2-D
  • Have taken on additional graduate coursework through Louisiana State University covering topics such as:
    • Fluid dynamics,
    • Hurricane engineering and advanced hurricane engineering
    • Hurricanes and typhoons,
    • Coastal morphology
    • Design of docks and harbors

ENGENSUS engineers are competent in:

  • The design of coastal structures such as rock breakwaters and jetties
  • The design of pile structures and bulkheads subjected to hydrodynamic forces
  • Risk based design methodologies

  • FEMA 55 Coastal Construction Manual - Expert Panel
